Are Nose Bleeds And Coughing Up Of Blood Related To Congestive Heart Failure?
My father was recently in the hospital for congestive heart failure her and rallied back to where he can live alone, however, he woke this morning at 4 AM with a bleeding nose and coughing up blood as I understand it. Could this be related to his congestive heart failure her and new stents?

coughing out blood could be due to lung congestion and disease secondary to heart failure. He must get back to his doctor immediately for. complete workup and treatment. If bleeding doesn't stop then take him to ER.A ct scan of chest and echocardiography are needed and angiogram for stent,if your cardiologist thinks necessary
