Are Night Sweats And Nightmares Symptoms Of Menopause?

I am feeling a great deal of depression due to monthly hormones, but have had 3 consecutive nights with heavy night sweats and horrible nightmares, making it difficult and frightening to awake. My concern is a tingling, zapping, dull pain in my frontal lobe and forehead. Is this commonly associated with perimenopause?
