Are Muscle Relaxant Effective For Hyperthyroidism?

hello - I have an under active thyroid and am taking medication for it. I also have bad back muscle spasms. I would like to take a cyclobenzaprine for the pain, but I am wondering if there will be a drug interaction. I think it may just be for hyperthyroidism...... is it ok to take the muscle relaxant?

HI
THERE IS NO KNOWN DRUG INTERACTION BETWEEN CYCLOBENZAPRINE AND THYROXINE TABLETS.YOU MAY FEEL DROWSY WITH CYCLOBENZAPRINE AS IT IS A COMMON SIDE EFFECT.
SECONDLY IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT HYPERTHYROIDISM I WILL SUGGEST YOU TO DO SERUM T4 AND TSH TEST TO KNOW PRESENT THYROID STATUS.
HOPE I HAVE ANSWERD YOUR QUERRIES
THANKS
