Are Lightheadedness And Dizziness Side Effects Of Steroid Injection?

Hi, almost 2 weeks ago I had a steroid injection in my lumbar spine. I m still having some pain, but that isn t the problem. However, lately I ve been feeling lightheaded, dizzy, and I m sweating profusely. I m wondering if the injection has something to do with my current feelings.

Hello,

I have gone through your query carefully and here is my advice. Steroid injection in lumbar spine you had 2 weeks ago is not related to lightheaded, dizzy and sweating profusely you are experiencing now. I think it might be due to an acute illness like viral infection. Anemia and thyroid problems should be also ruled out through complete blood count and thyroid function test respectively. I advise to stay well hydrated; can use water with oral rehydration salt.Take anti-inflammatory medications as prescribed by your doctor and ask to get further tests.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
