hello,
thank you for your query

No,it is not normal for the bleeding to occur like this especially when you have been on this regularly.

Gildess Fe can cause side effects of irregular bleeding and needs to be reported a health care professional if the bleeding is in excess or if you miss you period for two months in a row ( provided you are regular with the pill intake) . if you have missed a pill or two in the first 21 days of your cycle, please take a pregnancy test ( especially since you had a very scanty flow last cycle).

taking the medications correctly and regularly without missing it reduces your chances of getting pregnant to less than 3%.

Either way, I would clinically examine you and do an ultrasound of the pelvic organs to rule out other sources of bleeding, such as a fibroid or hyperplasia of the endometrium.
if the flow it too heavy or clots are present , I would prescribe hemp static drugs and plan for a dilatation and curettage to stop the bleeding if necessary.
the curettes material would then be sent for a histopathological exam to rule on any tissue abnormality.
you may need to stop taking the pill for a while and consider other methods of contraception. if the gildess fe seems to not suit you, your doctor will advice you as to what is safe (progesterone only preps, intra uterine device) based in the findings.

hope this helps. please get back to us for further queries.
wish you good health
