Are hot flashes and amenorrhea symptoms of menopause?

Hello my name is Lisa Heard, and I am about to turn 50 at the end of June... I am suffering with hot flashes and have not had a cycle in the past 3 month, if there is any bleeding it is very faint and only appears when I wipe and then it may be gone... I do have fibroids that may also have something to do with my bleeding. I have gone to my doctor to see if i am menopausing and they said that my hormones numbers were normal.

Hi, A few days ago my legs were freezing so cold I had to use extra blankets to stay warm. Now I get sensations that I m hot mainly sweaty too. I m 50 and menopausal but I asked my step dad and he says it could be a sign of diabetes. All day I turn on the fan and turn it off sometimes the next minute. I m obese but never had diabetes or any health problems due to my weight. I am also been anemic too. Please help.

Hi My wife is currently going through menopause. She had menopause symptoms for 3 years (2014-2016) then they went away for more than 6 months and are back again since 2 months ago. She is 48 years old. Has had no medical issues except Hypo thyroid 2 years ago which was treated after taking prescribed medication. She stopped medication a year ago. In addition to having hot flash sweats at night and some minor and short ones during the day she experiences the following symptoms: 1. She has been suffering from off and on shortness of breath and heavy upper chest feeling which radiates to neck and face and head which is accompanied by heaviness in left arm since 3 months ago. We went to doctor a month ago and they performed a Spirometry test and an EKG which were both normal. We also had chest x-rays done and that was normal as well. 2. Most of the times, she has cold feet at night and day. We appreciate your advice.
