Are High Fever With Stomach Ache, Watery Black Motions Signs Of Typhoid ?

Hello doctor,my daughter is 2.9 yrs old.she is suffering from high fever around 101F have stomach ache and watery black motions thrice a day and she is on medication of valparin 200 as well.doctor has prescribed her mefanorm syrup and ofloxacin oral suspension.want to know whether is she suffering with typhoid or just viral fever

Black motions indicate that she is bleeding somewhere in her gastrointestinal tract. This is serious. You must revert to your doctor ASAP.

However, before you visit your doctor, I would advise that you get a stool routine-microscopy done. Black stools may sometimes be caused by certain foods such as beet e.t.c. Meanwhile continue with the prescribed medications.
