Headaches at night can be due to
tension headache, it causes insomnia, pain &
restlessness. Long drives and working on computers for a long duration may cause it.
Tension headache is often triggered by some food, stress, anxiety, bad posture while on the bed, uncomfortable pillow or mattress.
Stay away from alcohol, caffeine, smoking. Take frequent computer breaks, take a shower, improve posture, apply a
heating pad or ice pacK.
Contact your treating doctor, you may need muscle relaxants, analgesics, SSRI's. Stay in touch with a physiotherapist for
stress management classes, CBT, Cognitive behavior therapy.
Stay outdoors on weekends, make sure you are taking abundant of oxygen. Stay active.
