Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As such it is too early to expect for the pregnancy, one week before expected date of the cycle.

3 ) I will suggest you to wait till the expected date of the cycle. If you have history of unprotected sex act in the fertile period of cycle, means between day 10 to 20 of the cycle, then I if you happen to cross your dates, I will suggest you to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

4 ) If the small bleeding that you are getting persists or recurs, then please get a gynec check up including per speculum and per vaginal examination done to rule out the common conditions like cervical polyp or erosion. Your treating doctor can help you with the treatment accordingly.
The doctor might suggest you PAP smear, cervical cautery, polyp removal.

I hope this answer helps you. Thanks.
