Are Ganglion Cyst On Foot And Pins And Needles On Legs Related?

I have a ganglion cyst on my foot, which they have tried to remove twice with no luck. I am getting pin and needles sensations in my right leg. My cyst in on my right foot. Are the two related? I have not been diagnosed with sugar as of yet. But I feel I have neurolopathy. How do they diagnose that?

Hi,

A ganglion cyst rarely causes pins and needles sensation. Usually, it is due to nerve involvement not by ganglion cysts, ganglionic cysts are usually asymptomatic.

Thank you. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jaideep Gaver, Orthopedic Surgeon
