Hi

I have gone through your query, i will try to give you suggestion which will be helpful to you.
You have been prescribed with clomphine citrate which is an ovulation inducing drug. As you have pcos there will be hormonal imbalance, so you have been prescribed with clomphine citrate. Folic acid is given to prevent neural tube defects in babies. So the drug prescribed by your doctor is right for your treatment. You will need regular scan to see the size of the follicles. If it's not correct then the drug will be tried for next cycle. Thereafter next treatment options will be planned.
This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.

I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you. I will be glad to help you in case if you have any further queries.

Wish you speedy recovery. Take care.
