Are Extreme Hot Flashes Suggestive Of Menopausal Symptoms?

Hi,

A few days ago my legs were freezing so cold I had to use extra blankets to stay warm. Now I get sensations that I'm hot mainly sweaty too. I'm 50 and menopausal but I asked my step dad and he says it could be a sign of diabetes. All day I turn on the fan and turn it off sometimes the next minute. I'm obese but never had diabetes or any health problems due to my weight. I am also been anemic too. Please help.

Hi welcome to HCM
I can understand your concern for your suffering due to your symptoms .
Yes dear , extreme hot flashes are suggestive of menopausal symptoms .
But diabetes can not be ruled out . You can't assure yourself of it's absence unless you get yourself tested . It is always better to take precaution .
I would like to suggest you to take a little more control over the consequences of your symptoms fatigue, weight gain, moodiness, and hot flashes by eating better and by exercise .

Simple menopause diet choices, such as vitamins , minerals antioxidant in natural form ,fiber, fruit , green veges ,soup , lemon juice in a glass of water ,amla , aloe vera , Turmeric powder in a cup of hot milk and honey , nuts etc ,and sufficient hydration could make all the difference in your day and your mood within a fortnight .

Exercise ,Walk yoga , Deep Breathing , Meditation all unwind & help to detox your mind , .body and soul and assure you trouble free menopause and life ahead .
If your problem persists consult your doctor .

Hope this helps solve your query . Take care .All best
