Are Diuretics And Motrin Effective For Pericardial Effusion And Heart Murmur?

I was just diagnosed with primordial effusion and a heart murder. I was put on diuretic that doctor states is reducing the effusion. They also found a murmur and told me they would monitor everything over time. I also take a Motrin everyday. Does this sound like the proper treatment? Thank you. Pericardial effusion.

Hi dear , I have gone through your question and i understand your concern. As per history provided you have pericardial effusion.
Treatment you are taking is proper and complete.Need not to worry.
In severe cases there is requirement of -
Pericardiocentesis: A doctor inserts a needle through the chest into the pericardial effusion. You do not require it.
You are on correct treatment Motrin - reduce inflammation + diuretics.
