Are Discharges Normal After Susten Insertion?

Dear doctor i had lost my 1st baby before 4 yrs due to prom. After that i could conceive only now- naturally by god s grace. i am now 3weeks preg and my gync has given me susten 300 and duphaston, folvite n multitamin tabs. I wanted to now as to how long should take rest after inserting susten and is it normal if it comes out like a sticky substance after some time even if i take rest . Thanks.

Hi, I have gone through your question. Susten is a progesterone which supports the pregnancy by making uterine environment more favourable for foetus. One should lie down at least 3-4 hours after inserting it vaginally. Since it is in capsule form, it's contents are not completely absorbed and therefore it forms a sticky white discharge whenever one stands or sits.So, this sticky white discharge is normal even of you take rest after taking Susten vaginally.
