Are Delayed Periods Early Signs Of Pregnancy?

I always have the normal white discharge for about a week and this time it was unusual . It was thicker and about two days ago i had a little bit of brown discharge when i wiped along with very small cramps all day. But havent seen the odd color since. Since then ive had mild mood swings and lower back pain. My period is suppose to come in 6 days. My husband and i only have unprotected sex. Could i just be paranoid and my periods just gonna start or is this what weve been waiting for?

Hallow Dear,

Your period is expected in next 6 days or so. Why should you worry about pregnancy? Think of pregnancy only if you miss your period. The first cardinal symptom of pregnancy to appear is missing a period.

Since, you had unprotected sex with your husband, you may opt for pregnancy test on the overnight first morning urine sample after 8-10 days of missed period, if you miss it. Done earlier, these tests may give false negative results. Alternatively, you may opt for Beta hCG test which is very sensitive test and gives reliable results even few days before missing a period.

I do not feel you have to be bothered about the increased amount of vaginal discharge. The brown colour could be due to mixing of some blood in it.

i think ot is too ealy to tell yet , so just wait 6 days , see if period does come if not, must do the pregnacy test and you will ahve the answer.
