Are Cold Ears A Sign Of An Inner Ear Infection?

My 3 year old grandson has been touching his ears lately and if I ask him why he says his ears are cold . He has had a previous inner ear infection and I was wondering if he might possibly have another one although he is acting perfectly fine other than that.

Nothing to worry. Cold ear is not synonymous with ear infection in any form. If their is no ear ache, fever etc then he is absolutely fine.
