are cervical polyps hereditry? i have just found my birth mum after 22 years an talkin about some family history, she says she had polyp, i am suffering the same pain she had and am waiting for an appointment to see the gyne doc, could this be the problem?

Hi, welcome to health care magic. you do not worry ,cervical polyp is not hereditary at all. Be relaxed. Go and visit your gynecologist for pap smear and internal check up that is not a issue.Thanks
