Are Blood Pressure, Heart Rate Readings Normal For A Septuagenarian?

My 75 yr old Mother-n-law takes different meds for Blood Pressure and she also started taking Celexa almost 2 mths ago. Low Blood Pressure runs in her family. She also consumes 3 or more 12oz Vodka with a couple of shots of tonic water. Sorry, here's the Question[s]: This morning she was ok, then about 1 1/2 hrs later she broke out into a Sweat! She became Shaky and she is supposed to be on #2 to #3 on Oxygen. Well, about 1 mth ago She took herself Off of the Oxygen. She checks her levels with the Finger monitor. Before I checked her BP, we checked her Oxygen level, which was 83 & her Heat Beat was 60. I went and got her portable and turned it to #3 and she used it for a short. Then I took her BP readings: 72/51 Pulse 61, [I waited about 5 minutes then rechecked to make sure it was reading correctly] it was 76/50 pulse 63, [then about 15 min later I checked it again] 77/55 pulse 61. She isn't unhealthy for being 75! I called her Doctor {not a personal family physician, just one she saw once in a while for years} and I explained everything. The doctor told me to get her to the Hospital. So, I called my Husband who thankfully was working in town today and explained everything. There is No making her go. She requested him to make her an appt with Dr. Backup; it's this Tuesday @ noon. She looks better than she did earlier. But I am still Concerned. Should I be worried or just Relax knowing she has an appt in about a Week!!
Sincerely,
Tina

In my opinion you should do everything you can to get her to the Emergency Department. With blood pressure that low she is at risk of heart attack or stroke because she is not getting enough blood to her brain and heart. Good Luck.
