Are Blood In Mucus, Cough, Fever And Body Pain Signs Of Bacterial Infection?

Been working in dust... lately and my sinuses reacted by traces of blood in the mucus and a cough that isnt going away.. along with serve fever and body aches... my doctor said it was a bacterial infection and antibotics was given to me..... but what i can use on a regular to help pervent my sinus from being so bad???

hai. thank you for your question. I understand your concern and if a similar patient comes to.my opd, I would suggest him that it should be a bacterial infection as your symptims suggest . a course of antibiotics should make it fine. at the same time try to use mask at workplace. try preventing so much dust exposure.do steam inhalation which can help you to reduce mucus from inside.initially you may feel that mucus discharge became more but eventually it will clear off completely. try to use masks as far as possible. hope you get well soon.
