I recently had sex and the next morning after having sex i had a painful blister on my vagina. I assumed it was just an ingrown hair and had sex with that same person later in the day and then the next day i woke up with 2 or 3 more painful blisters. it is painful to urinate and it burns when i pee. I am afraid the outbreak is herpes, however, when i look up herpes in the internet my sores look nothing like the images i see. my sides look more like chancres. The sores aren’t in clusters. a single sore is in each spot. Do you think it is herpes or could it possibly be something else? I have an appointment tomorrow to get it checked but i would like to know the answer i’m getting before i get it so i’m not so shocked. please help!!! also, my partner said his penis is super sensitive and he’s had some drainage since our inter course. he doesn’t have any outbreaks or rashes but he said he has just been super sensitive.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The lesion seems to be herpes only, as pain, burning micturition is there. I will suggest you to consult a dermatologist for proper examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
