Are Bleeding After Intercourse, Anemia And Weight Gain Related To Abortions?

Had two abortions in the space of year on different methods of contraception. The bleeding has not settled down as sometimes starts bleeding after intercourse. I m tired, have anaemia, weight gain, brain fog, low blood pressure. Constipation (not from iron tablets) and candidia. Are these related and if so what could they be?

Hello,
I would be able to comment better if you can provide details of your abortions, if they were induced or spontaneous. since you had two abortions in the span of one year, definitely this can impact the natural hormone balance and lead to irregular bleeding. Apart from this local causes like erosion of the cervix, polyps, infections of the vagina and the pelvic region can also cause intermittent bleeding, especially after a sexual intercourse. Weight gain can be both a cause and a result of hormone imbalance. In the current scenario, you should see an expert fro a complete evaluation, hormone profile and plan further management. Your sexual partner also needs to be treated if there is infection. Abstinence should be done until infection is completely healed. Hope this helps.
