Are Basilar Migraine And Head Bobbing Related In Arthritic Patient?

Hello...
My sister, age 61, had a Basilar migraine episode last summer. She was also told she had advanced shrinkage of the brain for her age. A few years ago I noticed she had a slight head bobbing or movement. Are these all somehow connected? She also has arthritis.

Thank you,

Pam

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, these two are connected.
Migraine if not controlled or relapsed can cause head bobbing.
So tell her to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief in migraine.
1. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
2. Avoid excessive sun exposure.
3. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid junk food.
4. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
5. Take propranolol and flunarizine combination.
6. Take sound sleep of 6-8 hours.
7. Avoid fasting and take your meals timely.
Don't worry, she will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your sister. Thanks.
