Are Azithromycin Tablets Apt For Swelling In Eyelid Due To An Upper Respiratory Infection?

Hi, I m taking azithromycin tablets (250 mg) prescribed for an upper respiratory infection. I m on the second day of the pills and my eyelid around my tear ducts are beginning to swell. I took the pill this morning and am just now experiencing the swelling. What should I do?

I think it is two different things. Azithromycin is ok for you upper respiratory tract infection. And there is no connection between your eye problem and ezithromycin. You should consult ophthalmologist for this.
