Hi, just researching a med I have recently been prescribed. Feeling well, my doctor was pleased with the results and has encouraged me to continue mental health counseling. He said anxiety/depression in number one killer of women my age (53). True?

Hi there, depression in persons of your age is usually severe and can be fatal. But both anxiety and depression are treatable and as you are showing good response with medicines, I also suggest you to continue them. All the best
