Are Antibiotics Advisable For A Broken Tooth?

i have part of my tooth like rotted or broke away i am seeing a dentist in 7 days time i have staphylex 500 (Flucloxacillin) tables coarse an Alphamox 500 (Amoxycillin) an the tooth is sharp an has be rubbin on in side of cheek an created like a cut or sore is the very back moler? will antibiotics help for head start
they are my own left over from past

As per your query if you have a rotten or decayed tooth that is broken, then antibiotics can help in reducing infection however permanent relief can be achieved only after treatment of tooth..

You can take Amoxicillin and in case if there is pain to can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..

But you need to consult a Dentist soon and get an
x ray done so that treatment like Root Canal treatment or Extraction can be done depending on condition of tooth..

For the Ulcer caused due to sharp edges of tooth, grinding of the tooth edges and apply numbing gel containing Lignocaine over the sore can provide relief..
