Are Zocor And Norvasc Advisable For Hypertension?

I am going on a two week trip at the end of April and I am taking a lot of meds. I am getting packs ready ahead and must do so for the days before the trip too. I don t remember which meds I take for what and I want to know if ZOCOR IS A blood pressure lowering drug. Also Norvasc...is that blood pressure lowering too? I am taking amLODLPine BESYLATE 10mg tabs too. one in the A.M. and one at night. My e-mail is: YYYY@YYYY I don t know where to click to send this.

Norvasc contains Amlodipine Besylate 10mg as an active ingredient. So, you have to choose if you will take Norvasc or Amlodipine you are already taking. And yes, that is a blood pressure lowering drug.

Zocor is a type of statin used to treat high cholesterol levels. Not used to treat hypertension, but high cholesterol.
