Are Zincofer And Terbinafine Effective In Curing Fungal Skin Infection?

Hi, I have been prescribed to take zincofer tablets and terbinafine tablets too for a skin fungal infection that is on my back, white patches on most of my torso area. The skin doctor also prescribed ketozol shampoo to use twice a week on the affected areas and my hair when I bath. What is the chance that all these skin fungal infection will disappear and my skin returning to an even normal colour when I finish taking the tabs??Thank you,Niki

Hello
Welcome here.

The drugs which you have mentioned are potent and widely used antifungal agents. There are high chances that your fungal infection gets cured with these drugs provided you take these medicines as prescribed by your doctor.

Keep the affected area dry. Do not scratch it.
Keep regular follow-up with your doctor.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
