Are UTI Infections Associated With Pain In The Pelvic Area?

For couple of days, I ve had a bad stomach ache in middle of very low pelvic area...could this be UTI eventhough I don t have urge to urinate frequently or any burning etc. Or something else my gynecologist should exam...I just had routine yearly exam.

UTI needs to be confirmed by doing a urine culture test.your symptoms suggest ,there could be UTI. The pelvic pain must be checked by a gynecologist.There are several causes for pelvic pain.Also mention if you're on any medication.
