Are Testosterone Shots More Effective Than Clomid For Testosterone Treatment?

Hi i am currently taking clomid for testosterone tratment i am not feeling much at all and was wondering if maybe i should switch to testosterone shots. i was on pellets but got off due to having to donate blood regularly also i read where the pellets kill off your natural test levels and you have to use the pellets from then on. so in closing i have now tried the pellets and now clomid and thinking about going with the shots. What is your thoughts i am a male age 52 with low libido and energy levels.

Oncologist 's  Response
Hello,

A new study shows that a drug similar to the one used to help women ovulate can raise testosterone levels and sperm counts in men.

The drug, called enclomiphene citrate, may prove to be more effective in treating men with low testosterone than the testosterone gels and injections currently prescribed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Esmeralda Sera, Oncologist
