Are Steroids Recommended In Case Of Pneumonia?

MY 5 MONTH OLD SON HAS PNEUMONIA AND HIS DOCTOR GAVE HIM STEROIDS AND A BREATHING TREATMENT. ITS NOT WORKING, HE S STILL WHEEZING AND IS ACTING LIKE HE CAN T CATCH HIS BREATH. THE DOCTOR TOLD ME IF IT GETS WORSE TO TAKE HIM TO THE HOSPITAL. SHOULD I WAIT UNTIL IT GETS WORSE OR JUST TAKE HIM? I DONT WANT TO LOSE MY SON!

There is no problem giving steroids if your doctor feels proper.
But it is better to give steroids with antibiotic covering.
Do not wait till condition worsen.
Consult neo-natal specialist and get examined and investigated.
