Are Pepto Bismol Tablets Advisable While On Warfarin?
I am on 2 mg warfarin a day - my gastroenterologist is tapering me off budesonide and told me to take 2 pepto bismol tablets 3 times a day. Before buying it I check the label and there is a warning about anticoagulants and the pepto. I called the gastro doc and talked to his nurse and she told me that he knew I was on warfarin and it was okay. Still skeptical???

Regarding whether it is right to take warfarin with pepto bismol together I am suggesting that yes you are right to precheck any form drug interaction however I will advise you to give at least an hour between each of the drugs to prevent any form of drug interactions and reaction
