Are Paracetamol And Levocetirizine Safe For The Treatment Of Fever In Babies?
My baby is having fever past 3 days n done blood test.The report says Sal Typhi O antigen positive 1:40.. she is telling severe pain in the head.dr. not prescribed antibiotic just prescribed usual syrup like paracetamol n levocetrizine.Could you please suggest is it ok not giving antibiotic will cure also diet for the baby.
As per the report she does not have typhoid fever so you should wait for a day or two and if the fever continues then yes, an appropriate antibiotic should be given you can talk to her doctor or you can even write to us.
