Are Lidocaine And Vagisil Similar Medications?

Hi my doctor prescribed lidocaine to help with painful sex and when I got home I realised the pharmacy had given me vagisil. This says to use externally, although my doc told me to use the lidocaine internally. Have the pharmacy given me the wrong meds?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, lidocaine is local anesthetic agent (In your case) if the given product does not contain the "Lidocaine" then you have been given the wrong medicine hope this information helps.
