Are Letrol, Fertilcare And Gestrenol Effective In Treatment Of Infertility?

Hi,I m from Bangladesh.,I have dermoid cysts in both ovaries.had a laparoscopy in December,2014.I was unmarried then.in march,2015 dr. Again found dermoid cysts.I m married now.and trying to conceive a baby..I m taking letrol from last 7-8 months..last month dr.give me 3 dose of Fsh injection and I did also TVS.and I was hoping this time I ll be pregnant but yesterday I had my period and I went to my Dr. She has given me letrol at period 2nd-5th day,fertilcare for 1 month,7th 8th 9th day FSH injection,12th day TVS ,and gestrenol from 15th day..I just want to know is her treatment is effective or not..please help me.thank you..

Hello,

As per my surgical experience, the medications in form of Letrol, Gestrenol and Ferticare are best remedies to handle the infertility issue, but the dermoid cyst itself usually does not respond to such therapies in many of the occasions. More important is the functional aspect of ovaries in terms of ovum release and for which ovarian biopsy results are mandatory to be evaluated for guiding you the pros and cons of the current therapy.
