Are HCG Injections Safe To Take During A Pregnancy?
I have been recommended hcg shots twice a week for the next 3 weeks. I am in the ninth week of pregnancy and have experienced spotting. My age is 27 yrs, height 5 feet 2 inches, weight 56 kgs. Ultrasound showed a good heartbeat and possibly a low lying placenta...which the doc said is too early to say now. Are hcg shots safe?

yes, they ensure better implantation of the placenta, a low lying placenta increases the chances of miscarriage or premature birth so its preferable to take them.
