Are HCG Injections During Pregnancy Safe?
hi doctor i have taken Clomid treatment for 2months with hcg shot and nw i am 8 weeks pregnant i am also taking susten 300 mg twice a day.i have got done ultrasound a week back and found out i am having twins Baby A is okay but Baby B has a small gestational sac so my doc prescribed me to take hcg injection once a week till 12th week of my pregnancy but i am worried do it has any sideeffects for me and my baby please do reply is all will be fine.

HCG is Human chorionic gonadotrophin hormone injection which facilitates conception & also supports fetal growth when the hormone is deficient... till placenta is well formed & takes over the hormonal production( up to 12 weeks of pregnancy )
Please follow the treatment advised .. it is to support the weak fetus out of the twins.
HCG is not known to have side effects or teratogenic effect on fetus.
