Hello,

Medicine you mentioned might cause irregular menstruation as a side effect in the beginning.

So, delay in menstruation is likely the result of the medicine. You are taking it as per your doctor’s advice so there is no need to worry.

The medicine is supposed to support the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle which is beneficial for women who are willing to get pregnant.

I would suggest you in the next appointment with your doctor get your doubts cleared on the side effects. She knows your history well so she will explain everything related to it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
