Are Cefolac DT And Ascoril D Advisable For Persistent Dry Cough In A Child?

Sir, my child is having dry coughing from last 3 days, she was coughing so much that she vomited. I tried for homeopathic medicine bt that didn t work. Last night she was coughing so much & vomited so much that i went to near by pharmacy where they recommended me the medicine-cefolacdt-100 & adry cough syrup named ascoril-d. Till now i have given her this dose twice. Is it ok for her? Note: before coughing she had fever for 2 days which is cured.

HI
Well come to HCM|
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the allergic cough then this may not need any treatment and this could be self limiting condition, and can be managed with conservative treatment like hot drinks, steam inhalation, and others if the symptoms persist then it need to be investigated, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
