Any Treatment For Tenderness And Itching Along Sides Of Legs, Upper Torso?

I have very tender areas along the sides of my legs, some are close to the surface and some are deeper. When rubbed it feels like cutting glass below the surface. It does not get better with rest or Tylenol. The tenderness extends into my upper torso on each side as well. I have itching and skin is not dry. The burning when I lay down at night is bad & it goes into my knees as well. Sometimes I get a snapping like a rubber band sensation on the tops of my feet too. Some days are worse than others. It has been going on for over 2 years. Went to physical therapy but no relief. Also have had mayofascial release work but it did not help for longer than a day or two & it was so very painful to get the treatment. I am at odds with this!

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

This is less likely due to ovarian cyst but can be related to trauma, stain, costochondritis, spleen, heart, stomach. X-ray can be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Richa Agarwal, OBGYN
