Any Suggestions For Spotting/ Bleeding, Abdominal Pain After Hysterectomy?
I had a hysterectomy 9 months ago using the Da Vinci. The Dr left both ovaries. I had heavy bleeding and pain. They found out that I had endometriosis. I have not been able to urinate again without ac hipness or a weird feeling. I even went to a eurologist and had several tests ran and everything looks good on that end. I also still have bleeding or spotting. It sometimes have been more than once a month but lately, it has been every 4 to 6 weeks. It is like I am having a cycle. My Dr has me using steroid cream twice a week. I am now spotting again, 4 weeks after the last time and I am having lots of abdominal, lower back pains...some shooting pains. I am frustrated with this and tired of seeing the Dr. Any suggestions or advice?

Hi. After hysterectomy you must have got your HPE of uterus done and found it to be OK . What was the indication for hysterectomy. If both ovaries were left inside then you should not have menopausal symptoms either and problems related to urine, which at times can be due to decrease in oestrogens. Also, the reason for bleeding can be infection at vaginal vault but if despite of treatment everything is continued and not releived, then you should get one MRI abdomen including pelvis done.Thanks.
