Any Suggestion For Suffering From Diarrhea When Recovering From Broken Arm?

My mother 83 years old, recently recovering from broken arm, with low Sodium & Pottasium, also suffering from Urinary infection, suddenly developed dioria. Liquid stool came out continuously for 30 minutes, just by standing.

In morning she had constipating hard stool.

Present concern is dihoria, where redotil just now has been given.

advice pl.

I really appreciate your concern, such diarrhea in this age with orthopedic injury could be due to bacterial infection and great care needs to be taken for dehydration and if it develops the electrolyte imbalance then it requires the correction here in this case chances of bacterial infection is very likely and it may needed antibiotic like Sulfamethaxazole and Trimethoprim either oral or parenteral therapy hope this information helps.
