Any Suggestion For Baby Suffering From Gas Problems?

hi Doc ,my daughter is 2 month old and she is facing gas problem due to which she can not sleep and vomit some time ,We are giving formula milk + breast milk both to her .My family doc suggest to do burping after the feeding .i need your suggestion to get relief from gas trouble

I really appreciate your concern, the most common reason for this is colic some time it may be nonspecific, if the baby is on top feeding then it the reason for sure for colic or for flatus formation, I would suggest to keep the baby in prone position and gently tap the back of baby till pass the flatus but it is not necessary the passing to flatus but baby can feel better in this position, try to breast feed the baby, if the vomiting persist then Domperidone drop can be tried but better to see the pediatrician hope this information helps.
