Any Suggestion For 71 Year Old Losing Hearing?

My husband has a really bad hearing loss and it is getting to the point where I even stopped trying to talk, because he will not even hear me talk to him. I am looking for a doctor that can help with this problem. He is 71 but is active and works on a farm. But is getting to the point of getting deaf and deafer. Thanks

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hi,
see an ENT specialist for the problem.
your husband probably has age related hearing loss.
he will need an audiometry test to know the type and degree of hearing loss.
he may do very well with a hearing aid.
regards,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi.
