Any Remedy For Clogged Sinuses With Scabby Tissues And Blood When Blown ?

I am 83....ever since mid December, my sinuses have been clogged to a point where I cannot breathe through my nose. I have used many over the counter items and also several saline solutions..Through the VA, I obtained a script called Flunisilide which helped some, but now back to same problem...Have used PAP machine for years, and always with plenty of water..also have used breathe right strips... When nose is blown, I get scabby tissue and sometimes blood.....any help would be appreciated in order to get a good nights rest....Loring R/ Stevenson Winchendon Ma.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

I am afraid that this looks like a sinus infection and you may need a course of antibiotics along with the nasal spray that you were using.
Please dont worry , continue saline irrigation's and take steam inhalation, they will help.
Please meet your doctor. Thanks
