Any Need To Detox From Methadone During Pregnancy?
Hi, I have a friend who is on methadone and pregnant. She is having trouble paying her clinic and getting there every day, and the clinic has threatened to force her to detox. She lives in Florida. Isn t there some law or something that pregnant women cannot be forced to detox from methadone for the safety of the baby?

Methadone can cause some serious side effects in the growth and develolment of the fetus. Being her well-wishers we should all be working towards helping her to wean off it, instead of finding ways to continue to keep her on it.
