Any Medications That Helps For Vertigo?

Yes, I'm planning a Grand Canyon rafting trip down the Colorado, and my boyfriend who is 65 has problems with Vertigo, and is concerned about flying out of the canyon in a helicopter. Are there medications that would help him with his vertigo symptoms??

Hello
Antivertigo drugs are available and they can be used 2 hours before the proposed journey to be effective in preventing the symptoms of vertigo which usually come in association with motion.
I guess the same drugs can be used here also.
So please do consult with your doctor if he can take this rafting trip as he his 65 years old.

Thank you
