Any Cure For Itchy Bumps On Hand?

for almost a year now I have had these very small bumps that come up on my hands in two spots in the top middle of my left hand and the side of my right hand and to the side in between my thumb and bottom of my finger. It started out with my hands itching very badly all over about 8 months ago and I would run my hands under very hot water to the extent of burning my hands but it would give me releive and I would rub my hands together very hard and that would help sometimes it is so strange because they ich and burn and now they are slightly spliting in little spots now that its been so long I ask my doctor and she said it was atletes foot and when i use atletes foot medicine it does help some i wouldnt be asking and im not one to get on the computor but when I woke up from a nap alittle while ago the bumps and ichig is still agrivating me. I just thought it would go away after awhile but it hasnt i wonder if i might be alergic to my cats or the medication i take for aniety might be causing it but im getting desperate also im a cashier at a register that has a scan gun and have been using that scan gun for 13 years but the rash is on both hands but more on my right hand Is this goin to cost me anything to get your professional answer if so ill go back to my doctor thank you Pam

Hello,

As per your case history of eczema, my treatment advice is:

1. Do not scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm-B cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.

If the problem persists, then consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
