Hello dear,

The causes of burping include:
1. Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
2. Gall bladder pathology
3. Anxiety- as mentioned by your doctor
4. Peptic ulcer due to excess acid production in stomach
5. Consumption of gas producing food products

Management includes:
1. Treatment of underlying cause
2. Dietary & lifestyle modifications
3. Medical management- Proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole, Pantoprazole, etc. (which prevent acid formation in stomach)
4. Avoid stress..practice meditation.

There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
