Radiologist, Interventional 's  Response
Hello,

This can be due to a venous reflux / congestion causing the swelling and pain.

You need to have a Doppler Ultrasound of your leg veins to look for early varicose veins.

Varicose veins can be treated by Endovascular Laser or Radiofrequency Ablation which is done by an Interventional Radiologist like me.

This is a day care procedure and you can go home the same day of the procedure.
