Ankle Popping After Falling Down Stairs, Hurts To Walk, Swelling, Bruising, Tender To Touch

Hi fell down the stairs, twisted my ankle and heard a loud pop. It happened this morning and hurt very badly for a fee minutes but then I was able to walk with little pain. Now it hurts a lot to walk especially waking down stairs. There is no swelling or bruising though if I push on the area where it hurts it is extremely tender to the touch.
